On January 27, Superintendent Barb Duffrin shared an update with the Mahtomedi School Board about events around the district, including kindergarten registration, spelling bees, and the upcoming MHS career fair. The presentation also included awards and recognition as well as upcoming district events. For more information, you can watch the video and view the presentation slides.

Join us on February 24 from 6:15-6:45pm at the Mahtomedi District Education Center for Coffee & Conversations. Several times a year, we hold district-level Coffee and Conversations at the District Center before the School Board meetings (three school board members at each conversation). District community members are invited to attend and enjoy some coffee and conversation with school board members and administrators, with no designated topics.
We are seeking volunteers to support Mahtomedi High School students at the MHS Career, Internship, and Volunteer Fair on April 11, 2025. Volunteers can submit interest via this Google Form
Business/Organization Volunteers: Whether you're looking to recruit dedicated interns, employees, or volunteers, this fair is your chance to build meaningful connections with MHS students.
Community Volunteers: We are also seeking volunteers to share their time reviewing student resumes, providing tips, and answering student questions on interviewing or other preparation ideas.

Mahtomedi Public Schools was recently announced as a recipient of the Minnesota Department of Education K-12 Computer Science Education Advancement Grants. Mahtomedi is one of 12 districts to receive the grants. The grant funding is being used in our district to support professional learning, cross-curricular planning and for related curricular resources to enhance student learning in areas like logical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
The 2025 Winter-Spring Catalog is available and registration is on Eleyo. Save the Date for Summer! Our Summer Catalog registration will launch on March 19th at 8 am.
Mahtomedi Community Education has been using survey data to inform projects like the recent MMS activities newsletter, the upcoming MHS career fair, and new course offerings for middle school students like art camp, puzzlers club, and pickleball.

Volunteers are needed for the Wildwood Book Fair. No experience necessary! This is a fun, easy way to get involved at school in short, 1-3 hour shifts - sign up for as many as you like. Help students find books and create wish lists, checkout students/families/teachers with purchases, restock book shelves, etc. Click here to sign up to volunteer.
