MMS Winter Youth Night Registration deadline is February 27 at 12 pm.
The Middle School Track & Field Team deadline is fast approaching! Join us to improve skills, drills, and techniques to prepare to compete in various running, jumping, and throwing events! Enrollment UpdateThe MMS Track and Field Program now has an enrollment waitlist. We hope to be able to welcome more students into the program. We are so excited to see that families enjoy this program!

We are excited to offer before and after-school and no-school-day opportunities to socialize, learn new skills, and engage in enriching activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.

Middle School Youth Night
The MMS Youth Night is back again in 2025! Join us after school for a fun after-school social for all Mahtomedi Middle School students on February 28 from 2:40-4:30 pm. This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland and is planned in coordination with the MMS Student Council! There will be a DJ, huge inflatables, an open gym, music, food, and photo stations. The cost is $20, and students must be registered via the Mahtomedi Community Education Eleyo registration system (registrations at the door will not be accepted). Click here to register. No-School-Day Opportunity: January 24
Join us for a no-school day service learning field trip on January 24 from 8:15 am-2 pm. We will be going to Feed My Starving Children and the Asia Mall. Click here to register.
New Classes
New Class Offering: Multicultural Art Camp
Including time to socialize, create, and learn, join this after-school art camp, which will explore art from a multicultural perspective! Each month, students will take a hands-on approach to a new project and theme. With a focus on Black History Month, Women's History Month, and Asian American & Pacific Islander Month, students will explore and create art from a diverse collection of artists. All materials for art projects will be provided! Instructed by MMS’s own Molly Timmerman!

New Class Offering: Puzzlers Club
Looking for an after-school opportunity? Join us in taking puzzles to the next level! In this hour of social time with friends we will learn about new types of puzzles, improve your mental ability, and sharpen cognitive skills! We will explore different puzzling challenges each session, such as speed jigsaw puzzles, riddles, and escape room-style puzzles! Taught by MMS’s own Rachel Bolte! $49

New Class Offering: Pickleball
Students will learn the fundamentals using real equipment (all provided), through a mix of interactive drills, games, and matches. After school on Tuesdays at Mahtomedi Middle School (starts Jan. 21) and Wednesday evenings at the Mahtomedi District Education Center (starts March 26). Click here to register.
