Professionals Who Use AI Needed

Is AI integral to your work in the workforce, higher education, or the military?

On April 14, 2026, from 5-7 pm, we will host a Dessert & Dialogue AI conversation session with professionals whose AI use is integral to their work.

During the event, we will break into small groups and participate in facilitated questions. We will use the conversation to help us better understand what AI skills make students competitive and how it is used in workplaces.

Love to Bike or Walk? Join Safe Routes to School

Mahtomedi's Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Committee is looking for additional parents and community members who are avid bikers, walkers or rollers through the Mahtomedi streets to help advise our committee on what we can do to promote safe roads and trails in our community.

This spring, Mahtomedi Community Education is also hosting a Bike Rodeo for PreK–5 students, and we need volunteers to help run the obstacle course, do simple bike tune-ups, and cheer students on.

Interested in joining the committee or volunteering? Contact Kate Andersen, Community Education Director, at kate.andersen@isd832.net
