School Transportation Forms for the 2024-25 school year are due on July 1, 2024. Please review the information on our website about the required school transportation forms. If a student in grades K-9 will ride the bus to and from the stop nearest home, a form does NOT need to be completed. If you have any questions, please contact trans@isd832.net or 651-407-2431.
Starting in July 2024, the Mahtomedi School Board meeting days will shift from Thursdays to Mondays. Meetings will be scheduled on the second and fourth weeks of the month. When a meeting week falls on a Monday holiday, the meeting will be scheduled on Tuesday. The Mahtomedi School Board calendar is available here, and all meetings are noted on the District website events calendar.

⭐️As a special tradition, the Mahtomedi High School seniors visit staff and students at Wildwood Elementary School before they graduate. The event is a special time for the teachers to see their former students and for the elementary students to find joy in the seniors’ celebration. The seniors are greeted by applause, high-fives, posters, and congratulations on their achievement! The seniors also see it as a special moment as graduation nears! Click here to watch the video.
⭐️Thank you to the Minnesota Twins for giving our students the honor to sing the national anthem at a recent game. Congratulations to our O.H. Anderson Elementary School fourth and fifth-grade choir members and their music teacher Mr. Rob Pontious on a wonderful performance! Watch the singers in action here.
⭐️Congratulations to Sriram Sureshkumar (Class of 2025), who was recently named a Scholar of Distinction in Environmental Leadership by the Minnesota Department of Education. Sriram recently participated in the International Science and Engineering Fair with research that explores the potential of biochar in providing life support sustenance on planet Mars. ⭐️The Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation recently announced that Mahtomedi will receive a $10,000 Grant from the Andersen Corporate Foundation for the Mahtomedi High School Fabrication Lab to purchase new industry-grade equipment.
⭐️Congratulations to our spring teams and coaches on a great season! Multiple teams competed in State Tournaments, including Baseball, Clay Target, eSports & Chess, Boys Tennis, Boys & Girls Track & Field, and the Girls Golf Team.
⭐️Congratulations to Class of 2024 students Naif Abdulaziz and Ishana Didwania, who earned World Language certificates for outstanding language skills. The Minnesota Multilingual/Bilingual Seals Program offers students the opportunity to demonstrate the required levels of language proficiency through assessment with the opportunity for college credit.
