Hello Middle School Families,
We are excited to welcome you into the 2024-2025 school year at Mahtomedi Middle School!
With the first day of school quickly approaching, there is likely anticipation about classes, teachers, friends, and well, frankly, middle school. While this typically brings a wide range of emotions, we know that once the school year starts, your child will be surrounded by a team of adults who are dedicated and driven to make this an exceptional year.
This evening, student schedules will be visible in StudentVue and ParentVue. Please note that our team goes through an extensive process considering academic performance and needs, social-emotional supports, and student connections to place students in courses that will appropriately challenge them academically and socially. To maintain balanced classrooms, we will not be able to make schedule adjustments. Rather, we encourage you to talk with your child about the opportunities they will have to connect with a variety of students and teachers and use them to expand their experiences.
