Class of 2026 Students and Families,

It's hard to believe, but we are close to being one month away from Graduation! We're reaching out today with some important reminders.

 

Cap & Gown Distribution

Next Wednesday, May 6th, we will be distributing Caps & Gowns during lunches in the Commons.  Caps & Gowns will not be available prior to A Lunch on Wednesday.  If you're unable to pick up your Cap & Gown during lunch on Wednesday, there is no need to panic. Students are welcome to stop by the MHS Main Office after school on Wednesday or starting Thursday, May 7th...before or after school, during lunches or during passing time.

Please Note:

-Students should not be leaving class to pick-up their Caps & Gowns

-Caps & Gowns will only be released to the student.

 

Graduation Regalia

-Students who are eligible to wear an Academic Honor Cord (Gold, Silver or AVID) have been notified via email (AVID will be notified by Ms. Lewellen). Honor Cords are available to purchase on MHS ePay. If you purchase an honor cord prior to 2pm on Tuesday, May 5th the cord will be in the bag with your cap & gown. Students who want to purchase an Honor Cord after May 5th can do so in the MHS Main Office with cash, check or card.

-National Honor Society members that purchased a National Honor Society Medal on MHS ePay prior to 2pm on Tuesday, May 5th will have their medal included in their Cap & Gown bag. Starting,Thursday, May 7th, NHS Medals will be available in the MHS Main Office payable by cash, check or credit card. 

 

Class of 2026 Yard Signs

During Cap & Gown distribution,Volunteers will be handing out the Class of 2026 Yard Signs.  Thank you to MAEF (Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation) for generously donating signs for our graduates!

 

Graduation

The Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 5th at 6pm at Aldrich Arena. We will have mandatory practice for all seniors that morning.  Additional details about graduation day were shared at our Senior Meeting on April 15th. Class of 2026 Graduation Fee

The Class of 2026 Graduation fee is due next Thursday, May 7th.  If you have not paid your fees, please CLICK HERE to be directed to MHS ePay

Commencement tickets will not be released to students that have not paid their Graduation Fee.

If you would like to request financial assistance for your fee, please reach out to your counselor or to MHS Assistant to the Principal, Susan Decker. All requests for assistance will remain confidential.

 

Commencement Tickets

Graduates will receive 10 tickets to Commencement. Tickets will be distributed to Seniors, starting Thursday, May 28th upon completion of their Graduation Check-out Forms.
