Meet our Groundsperson

“He always shows up with one of the biggest smiles a person can have.”
Meet Michael Messingham, our groundsperson for Mahtomedi Public Schools.

Since joining the district last spring, Mr. Messingham has built a reputation for his can-do attitude, reliability, and care for every detail. From grooming ball fields and maintaining irrigation systems to keeping our parking lots, playgrounds, and facilities safe and ready for students, his work touches every part of our community.

Click here to learn more about the positive impact he makes and how he embodies the Zephyr spirit in his work.

Students in cross country

Middle School Cross Country Impact

At a recent cross country meet, our middle school students reminded us that you can accomplish any goal with the support of your peers. Middle school cross country, offered through Mahtomedi Community Education, gives students in grades 6-8 the opportunity to build conditioning, perseverance, and confidence while being a part of an uplifting team.

Click here to hear from our students about the encouraging environment cross country creates.

Students in Zephyr BINGO

Zephyr BINGO

Students in grades 3-5 recently spent a joyful afternoon playing Zephyr Bingo through Mahtomedi Community Education. Each student walked away with Zephyr gear to show off their school spirit like t-shirts, sweatshirts, mittens, and cups. We love seeing our students come together after school to joyfully spend time with their peers and have fun!
