| Did you know your feedback directly shapes our programs?
On a recent community needs assessment survey, we learned that our community wants to see more community events. Over the past year, we have enhanced events like our Middle School Youth Night, which now runs in both the fall and spring, and introduced new events like our Pet Extravaganza, coming this summer!
Have an idea for an event? We're here to listen. Email us at communityed@isd832.net. |

Around Community Education | |

|
Mahtomedi Community Education recently welcomed families back for our annual Sweetheart Dance, and the joy was everywhere! Thank you to all the families and little Zephyrs who brought so much energy and enthusiasm.
Since its start in 2016, the Sweetheart Dance has become a beloved tradition for Mahtomedi families. This year, we celebrated our largest turnout yet with over 140 children and their moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and special adults. Click here to see the sweet behind-the-scenes moments! |

Our Community Baby Shower recently brought together families with little ones (0–12 months) for a morning of connection, learning, and support. Families had the chance to meet one another, connect with our Parent Educators, and learn about resources available right here in Mahtomedi!
The baby shower ended with a baby yoga session, which brought calm and joyful moments as parents learned different massage techniques to relax and soothe their babies. Click here to see the heartwarming moments from this event. |

We recently celebrated National Puzzle Day with a puzzle competition, and we loved seeing community members come together to enjoy a shared passion. Teams raced the clock to complete a 500-piece puzzle, with the top team finishing in under 30 minutes!
We started this event over the summer in response to our community's feedback requesting more community events. Thank you to the new and familiar faces who joined us! Click here to see our top three teams! |
