This summer, our community members have been hard at work bringing to life Mahtomedi’s first-ever community theater production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! We asked the cast and crew what they are most excited for as we near their debut. Lydia Elwell, who plays Olive Ostrovsky, shared this: “It’s overall such a funny show, and I’m so excited to hear all the laughter, because everyone here is doing amazing, and it’s going to be so exciting to see that pay off.” Bridget Ellison, Eve Porter, and Rudy Perez-Quintero–who also star in the cast–echoed this feeling of pride and excitement to share the show’s infectious joy with the audience.Click here for a behind-the-scenes look of their recent rehearsal.
