Spring Cleaning? Put it Towards a Good Cause!

This summer, we are hosting our Community Garage Sale event! If you have any gently-used items you no longer need, we would love if you consider donating them this summer. In doing so, you will help us raise money for youth scholarships! All items donated to the garage sale will be free (we just ask for a $10 donation at the door for any community members attending the event).

Please note:

Due to space, safety, and logistics, we are only accepting certain items this year. Click here to see our full donation guidelines!

In our Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program, every song and activity is designed with purpose. While children build fine motor skills and confidence, parents transition into their own learning space to discuss everything from child development to temperament with a licensed Parent Educator. Building Confidence with High School Mentors

For 50 years, the Ski Club, through Mahtomedi Community Education, has given middle school students a space to explore the slopes while building independence and lasting connections with peers and our adult mentors. This season brought a whole new layer of connection and confidence through high school mentors. Click here to learn about the growth this season brought and see the behind-the-scenes moments!

Preschool Morning Meeting

In Mahtomedi Area Preschool, every day begins with a morning meeting filled with deep breaths, movement, and connection. These meetings build routine while creating a strong sense of belonging in the classroom.

Did you know morning meetings are also a practice in all of our elementary classrooms? This helps create a smooth and familiar transition from preschool into elementary school. Click here to see a preschool morning meeting in action!
